As one of the most highly anticipated events in the dental industry, the AGD tradeshow brings together industry experts and leaders from across the nation for a networking and learning experience that celebrates the innovations and achievements of the dental industry.
About the AGD Foundation
The AGD Foundation is a subsidiary of the Academy of General Dentistry, focused on “raising awareness of oral and oropharyngeal cancer, educating about risk factors and prevention, and passionately supporting the general dentist as a first line of defense against this deadly disease.” This year aims to provide attendees and practicing dentists with the support they need to inform and continually improve the detection, prevention, and treatment of oral cancers.
In this effort, the AGD Foundation will be providing free oral cancer screenings, presenting awareness programs, and spotlighting its annual grant program. Attendees can help support the mission and raise awareness at AGD2023 by getting a free oral cancer screening and bidding in the 2023 Electronic Silent Auction.
What to Expect at the Tradeshow
This year’s AGD2023 session provides new advanced hands-on education to clinical and practice management lectures, using an innovative one-hour lecture format. The AGD’s annual scientific session “has earned a reputation for having some of the finest dental continuing education in the world.” Not only is the 4-day tradeshow a chance to explore the wide variety of exhibitions and new developments, but it caters heavily to advanced continuing education in a timely fashion.
