About the Chicago Dental Society
The Chicago Dental Society, or CDS, has been around for quite some time— founded in 1864 and incorporated in 1878. They aim to curate high-quality programs and products that highlight the science and art of dentistry. With approximately 4,100 members local to the state, the society ensures each one benefits and is well-equipped to push out updated, innovative programs.
The CDS contains four core values— education, collegiality, diversity, and leadership—and works closely with the American Dental Association, or ADA. In fact, when an individual becomes a member of the CDS, they automatically become a member of the ADA. The annual CDS Midwinter Meeting is a highly anticipated three-day event in the first quarter of 2024.
